We have checked the wider football schedule and this fixture is expected to remain within its scheduled Premier League weekend. However, Manchester City could be involved in European competition immediately before and after the match, which may affect which dates are available for television scheduling. The final schedule is expected to be announced during the week commencing Monday 24 August 2026.
As match tickets must be purchased in advance, this tour may need to be rescheduled if the fixture is selected for television coverage and moved from its currently scheduled date.
The match could be moved to Friday 16 October or Sunday 18 October 2026. If the fixture changes, the tour may depart on the revised match date and return the following day. By booking, you confirm that all passengers are available to travel on Friday 16 October, Saturday 17 October or Sunday 18 October 2026, depending on the confirmed fixture date.
If the fixture date changes and you are unable to travel on the revised date, we will be unable to offer a refund or transfer, as match tickets and other arrangements will already have been purchased and confirmed.

Man City v Ipswich Town
October brings another Premier League contest to the Etihad as Manchester City welcome Ipswich Town on Saturday 17 October 2026. City dominated both meetings during Ipswich’s previous top-flight campaign in 2024/25, winning 4-1 in Manchester before producing a commanding 6-0 victory at Portman Road. That gave City an aggregate score of 10-1 across the two matches, although Ipswich did manage to take a surprise early lead during the Etihad meeting before City responded emphatically.
The last meeting in Manchester showed just how quickly City can take control. Ipswich went ahead after only seven minutes, but City scored three times in the space of just three minutes and 11 seconds to completely turn the match around, with Erling Haaland eventually completing a hat-trick. City then went one better in the return fixture, with Phil Foden scoring twice and providing an assist during a 6-0 win that equalled the club’s biggest away victory of the Premier League era. Ipswich will therefore arrive with a difficult recent record to overcome, while City will see the fixture as an opportunity to produce another attacking Etihad performance.
