    The Wetherspoons Heritage Tour

This unique day trip visits six carefully selected Wetherspoon venues, each chosen for its character, history or striking building background. Guests will have around 45 minutes to enjoy each stop, with a route built around some of Scotland’s most interesting Spoons, from former cinemas and historic landmarks to buildings with links to entertainment, industry and classic architecture.

The day begins with The David Macbeth Moir in Musselburgh, chosen for its former cinema background, before continuing to The Caley Picture House in Edinburgh, one of the standout venues of the route with its grand picture house history. From there, the journey continues to The Guildhall & Linen Exchange in Dunfermline, selected for its landmark building and historic character, followed by The Carron Works in Falkirk, which brings in local industrial heritage and an old cinema connection.

The final stops are The John Fairweather in Cambuslang, another former cinema with a brilliant story behind it, and The Crystal Palace in Glasgow, chosen as a fitting finish thanks to its striking glass-and-iron inspired design. It’s a relaxed and sociable day out for anyone who enjoys interesting places, local history, and something a little different.
